A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the Program is required to reserve a spot. Healing Journeys reserves the right to cancel any Trip for the following reasons, including but not limited to, failure to meet the Participant minimum on a specific Trip; loss of scheduled staff for a specific Trip due to injury or illness; unforeseeable significant damage to or loss of Healing Journeys equipment or inventory necessary for a Trip; or a calamity or catastrophe beyond the control of Healing Journeys that would be make it unreasonable for a Trip to proceed as planned, including but not limited to natural disasters; national security threats; pandemic or epidemic; terrorism or the threat of terrorism; acts of God or force majeure; acts of war or civil unrest; insurrection or revolt; acts of government; or strikes or other labor activities. If Healing Journeys cancels a Trip for such reasons, you will receive a full refund of the total amount you paid, including any Trip deposit minus any nonrefundable expenses incurred by Healing Journeys. Healing Journeys strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance with appropriate coverage for any potential losses related to a Healing Journeys Trip cancellation.
